You Proof - Turners Novice Hurdle - 33/1 (1PT EW)










After looking through the market for this race post Christmas I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw 33/1 about this lad after his impressive win down at limerick on the 28th of December. It's quite tricky to pick apart the form as it's only a maiden hurdle but Kings Bucks was in 2nd and went off a 4/5 favourite after finishing 3rd behind No Drama This End at Cheltenham at the November meeting so getting the better of him first time out over hurdles looks like solid enough form to me. 

It might be the fact that he runs in the double green colours but he does remind me of Impaire Et Passé who went on to win the 2m4f novice hurdle at Cheltenham in 2023 and I have a feeling You Proof could go on to do the same.

He's by no means a certainty with No Drama This End topping the market at around 7/2 but at the prices I think this is a fair bit of value at well worth a EW play at 33/1.

Cheltenham Ante-Post Series 2025/26 Vol #1 With it now being November with the National Hunt season now in full flow I think it's only fitting that we get our 2025/26 Cheltenham Ante-Post series underway!
