Now before I start to make my case about this lad I must come clean because I can't take all the credit for this selection. A friend of mine actually pointed him out in the market a few weeks ago & the more I looked into it the more I was in total agreement with him. 
He was 3rd in a Champion Bumper behind Jasmin De Vaux and Romeo Coolio in 2024 before missing his novice hurdle campaign last season due to injury. 
He returned to the track last November where he was beaten in a maiden hurdle by Willie Mullins trained Sortudo over 2 miles before stepping up in trip at Christmas going down half a length to Frankie John. Although he was beaten in his first 2 starts this campaign you could make the case that he's just bumped into some decent opposition on both occasions over trips that might not be best suited. 
He was entered in the Nathaniel Lacy at Leopardstown however Gordon Elliot decided to run him in a maiden at Naas a week later where he was a easy winner by 27 lengths finally breaking his duck - albeit at odds of 1/10.
I've decided to put him up NRNB only because he's yet to be confirmed for the race
however I do think a step up in trip could be the making of him & definitely won't be a 33/1 shot if he does run.

Cheltenham Ante-Post Series 2025/26 Vol #4 You Proof - Turners Novice Hurdle - 33/1 (1PT EW) After looking through the market for this race post Christmas I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw 33/1 about this lad after his impressive win down at limerick on the 28th of December. It's quite tricky to pick apart the form as it's only a maiden hurdle but Kings Bucks was in 2nd and went off a 4/5 favourite after finishing 3rd behind No Drama This End at Cheltenham at the November meeting so getting the better of him first time out over hurdles looks like solid enough form to me.  It might be the fact that he runs in the double green colours but he does remind me of Impaire Et Passé who went on to win the 2m4f novice hurdle at Cheltenham in 2023 and I have a feeling You Proof could go on to do the same. He's by no means a certainty with No Drama This End topping the market at around 7/2 but at the prices I think this is a fair bit of value at well worth a EW play at 33/1. Fo...

  Cheltenham Ante-Post Series 2025/26 Vol #5 Kargese - Arkle Chase - 10/1 (1pt win) If you've followed me for the last year or so you'll know that I'm leading the line for the Kopek Des Bordes fan club and whilst I'm on at a decent price, again it would seem silly not to have another arrow to throw in what looks to be a competitive race. She didn't take to fences straight away when being beaten by Kala Conti on seasonal reappearance but I'd be happy to forgive any horse first time out and I don't think she would've appreciated the soft ground at Cork that day so I'm happy to put a line through that run. She quickly got back to winning ways over the Christmas period beating Lovely Hurling by 14 lengths! which just so happens to be the same winning distance as Kopek Des Bordes managed against the same horse in his beginners chase.
